
The World Road Association (PIARC) in collaboration with the Ministry of Works,Tanzania through Tanzania Roads Association (TARA) is organizing an International Seminar on Transport Asset Management at Arusha, Tanzania from 9 to 11 April 2025.
Seminar Objectives
The International Seminar aims to address these challenges through a collaborative approach, with the following objectives:
a. Knowledge Exchange: Facilitate dialogue among international experts to share insights and successful strategies in Transport asset management.
b. Best Practices Dissemination: Identify and distribute best practices tailored to the diverse contexts of participant countries.
c. Capacity Development: Provide training workshops to enhance the skills of professionals in the field.
d. Innovative Solutions: Explore and propose innovative solutions to contemporary challenges in Transport management.
e. Network Building: Foster a network of stakeholders to enhance collaboration and partnerships in road transport initiatives.
f. Sustainability Focus: Promote discussions on sustainable practices in Transport asset management that consider environmental impacts.Policy Recommendations: Formulate actionable recommendations for policymakers to improve logistics, investments, and sustainable planning approaches.
g. Future Readiness: Prepare the Transport sector for future challenges through foresight and strategic planning based on emerging trends and technologies.
